FAQ's

Can we meet or have a consultation before booking?

We usually offer virtual or phone consultations instead of in-person meetings. We prefer to have a consultation before booking to make sure we’re the right fit for your big day.

Who will be our photographer if we book with you?

We have an incredible team ready to capture your day, ensuring the consistent style and quality we're known for.

Where are you based? Do you travel?

We are based on the Gold Coast, Australia but do travel between Sunshine Coast to Byron Bay. Travel fees do apply for transit over 2 hours return from our business location. Contact us for a quote.

How much is your booking fee and when is the balance due?

A $750 retainer will reserve your booking date with the full balance due 14 days before your wedding date. If paid in full then the retainer is included in your full balance.

What equipment do you use?

We use the latest professional-grade camera gear, including a backup camera for all weddings. We shoot in RAW and write all images to a backup card for added security. Our second shooters also use two cameras.

Do I need to provide a shot list?

We prefer to document your day as it naturally unfolds rather than follow a checklist. However, our questionnaire will capture any must-have shots or special moments you want us to focus on. With our experience, rest assured that we’ll cover everything typically found on shot lists.

When does our coverage begin?

Coverage starts at the booked time on your run sheet, which is when we’ll arrive. We sometimes arrive early to start shooting, but this won’t affect your coverage start time.

Do you need to be fed?

If our coverage is 8 hours or above, ``yes please!`` It's an eventful day for us and we don't get much opportunity to refuel so we would appreciate a meal. Your venue will have vender meals.

How do you handle changes to the wedding schedule or last-minute adjustments?

Our contract states that we need 14 days’ notice for any changes to the schedule or location, but we’re generally quite flexible leading up to the day. Changes on the day may result in extra charges if coverage times shift, but we’ll do our best to accommodate any adjustments to make sure your day is amazing.

What happens if you’re unable to shoot our wedding due to an emergency?

Touch wood, this has never happened, but we do have a team of photographers and videographers who can step in. We’re in constant contact leading up to the wedding to ensure everything is covered. For full details, please check your contract.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

For any changes or cancellations, please notify us at least 14 days in advance and we’ll reschedule at no extra cost, subject to our availability to find a new date. If changes are made with less than 14 days’ notice, the original retainer is non-refundable. Full details are in your contract.

Are our images watermarked?

No. We do not watermark any of our images.

Do you offer prints or albums?

No, we don’t offer prints or albums. We provide high-resolution images for you to print with your preferred vendor.

How many photos do we receive?

We don’t set an exact number, as every wedding is unique. Typically, you can expect 400-500+ high-res images for a full day, plus a duplicate set in black and white.

How will we receive our photos?

Your high-resolution images will be edited, enhanced, and delivered in a beautiful online gallery for download and sharing. The gallery will expire after 12 months, so be sure to download your photos within that time.

How long will we need to wait to receive our photos?

Our usual turnaround is 4-6 weeks. During busier times, it may extend to 8-10 weeks.

Do you provide a sneak peak?

Absolutely! We know you’ll be eager to share your wedding, so we aim to provide a sneak peek of 5-10 images within 3 days post-wedding

Do you give us the RAW images?

In short, no. When you hire us, you’re trusting our style and creative process. The editing is as important as the photography itself. We carefully craft each image with the final product in mind, so we only deliver fully finished photos.
